![]() I hope to challenge the reader to be open minded without selling out, to be less judgemental of what you don't understand, and to serve God with passion, and not lip service. I would like to be a bridge *to* the conservative Anabaptists, their doctrine, different practices, and a simpler life for everyone, for anyone who is interested. They are not afraid to challenge me, and I adore them for their honesty. Frances mentioned in several interviews that she loved the character of Bee, but it was hard to be stereotyped in one role. To live in the hearts of those left behind is not to die. She was buried in her adopted hometown, and her tombstone reads Aunt Bee. They have taught me to be a better person through their fellowship. Most of her 700,000 estate was left to the hospital foundation. I have a world of genuinely plain friends who I love dearly. She would continue her part in the shows spin-off, 'Mayberry. Bavier played the popular Aunt Bee on 'The Andy Griffith Show,' which ran from 1960-1968 on CBS. 1966 was also the final year for Studebaker. I do not dress to align with any particular church. This 1966 Studebaker Daytona was Frances Baviers last car. I am not *PLAIN* in the most dramatic sense, but I am simple, modest, and conservative in a practical sense. It's about a devotion to God, and that's the earthly label that I identify with most. My life is not simply about being Anabaptist. In The Andy Griffith Show Book, author Richard Kelly revealed that of all the show’s cast members, Aunt Bee actor Frances Bavier was the most difficult to work with. ![]()
